CCA Fellowship Programme 2018-2019
The Center for Contemporary Art (CCA), Kitakyushu, Japan, is a research institution for contemporary art, founded in 1997. Since then, CCA has been presenting art exhibitions and projects together with internationally renowned artists and practitioners from various fields such as architecture and science. The Center for Contemporary Art operates a fellowship programme for young artists and researchers who are engaged in art, curatorial work, design and architecture. The CCA Fellowship Programme 2018-2019 runs from September 2018 to the end of March 2019. Each fellow will be required to stay and work in Kitakyushu for a few months, either consecutively or intermittently during this period of time. Fellows are expected to further develop their research and studies during their stay, and are required to present the results of their project as report, exhibition, etc. at the end of the programme, with advice from the directors.
The CCA Scholarship Committee offers living expenses of JPY 200,000 and covers one return transportation fare according to CCA terms.
