The Berlin Global Voluntary Internship Project 2018 - 2020
The Berlin Global Voluntary Internship Project (2018 - 2020) is a three-year programme with the main purpose of enabling students to engage in cultural diplomacy and multiculturalism worldwide. The project invites applications from individuals coming from the fields of communication and journalism; film, photography and visual art; arts and culture; international relations and politics; marketing and public relations; business and economics; and history and philosophy. The internship is open to currently enrolled students who need this internship as a compulsory component of their academic studies or to participants of the ERASMUS programme. The voluntary internships are full time, unpaid, and last 2-3 months. Intern responsibilities include the following activities: international conferences and daily events; media, press and pr; and cultural diplomacy research.
Berlin Global is an online news outlet, which reports on cultural diplomacy and the means by which it is practiced and implemented in Berlin and Germany by the various different diplomatic communities including the German government, the business sector and civil society more generally.
