Full-Time Assistant Professor in Public Policy at the Central European University
The Department of Public Policy at the Central European University in Budapest, Hungary, is opening one full-time position at the level of Assistant Professor in the field of public policy and public management, with a special focus on cultural policy. The Assistant Professor specializing in cultural policy will teach core courses in public policy and public management as well as one or two courses on cultural policy. This position includes responsibility for managing the DPP's cultural policy stream, which is a specialization within the MA in Public Policy.
Applicants should have a publication record in public policy and engage in high-quality policy-oriented research. Research and/or teaching experience in cultural policy is required; specialization in the fields of public administration and public management is an advantage. Minimum requirements include: a PhD in Public Policy, Political Science or International Relations; a track record in public policy research; ability to develop and deliver graduate courses in the field of public policy, ability to develop and deliver graduate courses in cultural policy, ability to produce outstanding academic research and international publications.
