European Diploma in Cultural Project Management
On Friday, 14 May 2010 Culturelink and its headquarters, the Institute for International Relations, hosted 26 participants of the European Diploma in Cultural Project Management from European countries and Canada, and its director, Jean-Pierre Deru. The participants took part in a round table on Croatian cultural policy held in the IMO library. Speakers were Sanjin Dragojević, from the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb, Dragana Lucija Ratković, Director of Muses, and Emina Višnjić, Director of the Zagreb Centre for Independent Culture and Youth, as well as Biserka Cvjetičanin, Aleksandra Uzelac and Jaka Primorac, researchers from IMO/Culturelink.
Following the round table session, part of the participants held a mini-audit session, analyzing the goals, activities and results of Culturelink Network's work. A final evaluation session of this year's two-week Diploma cycle was also held at IMO.
The European Diploma is a pan-European training programme arising from the will to foster cultural diversity as well as trans-regional and transnational cultural exchanges. The programme lasts one year and is organized in three phases. This year the first residential session of European Diploma in cultural project management 2010/2011 took place in Croatia (Varaždin, Labin and Zagreb). In the course of 20 years, the Fondation Marcel Hicter has developed a wide range of cultural management training programmes in Europe and Africa.
