ArtsLink Independent Projects Awards
ArtsLink Independent Projects awards provide funding to artists and arts managers in all disciplines who propose to undertake self-directed projects in the United States in collaboration with a US non-profit arts organization or individual artist. Applicants must have a letter of invitation from a US partner in order to apply for an Independent Projects award.
Support is provided to create new work that draws inspiration from interaction with artists and the community in the US; to establish mutually beneficial exchange of ideas and expertise between artists, arts organizations and the local community and to pursue artistic cooperation that will enrich creative or professional development or has potential to expand the community's access to the art of other cultures.
Application deadline is 1 December 2010. Eligible project dates are between 1 May 2011 and 30 April 2012.
ArtsLink Awards support arts exchanges between the US and the following countries: Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Mongolia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
