MaHKU Fine Art and Design Master's Programmes
MaHKU, the Graduate School for Visual Art and Design in Utrecht, The Netherlands, offers one-year Fine Art and Design masters programmes designed for an international body of students. MaHKU students are from various backgrounds such as Editorial Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Urban Design, and Fine Art. While exploring idiosyncratic modes of research and creating research concepts, students not only seek to deepen their proficiency and to expand their knowledge both in visual and theoretical work.
In their master work, they also contribute to the bifurcation of the field of artistic research. The development and realization of MaHKU research trajectories create links with other disciplines and involves a close collaboration with a platform of art and design institutions.
The masters degrees are internationally acknowledged and accredited by the Open University Validation Services in London (OUVS). Application deadline is 30 April 2008.
