Cultural Cooperation Grants
The UCLG Committee on Culture announces a call for proposals based on the Agenda 21 for culture, aimed at countries in Africa, Ibero-America and the Mediterranean, for cities and local governments which are direct or indirect members of United Cities and Local Governments - UCLG. The involvement in the project by a non-profit organisation or an educational institution in the city or country concerned is highly recommended and will be an advantage.
The projects should be based on the Agenda 21 for culture, the first document which links culture with sustainable development, diversity, interculturalism and local governance, that is the UCLG's reference document for local cultural policies. They shall come under at least one of these goals:
