Andronico Luksic Fellowships for Master's Degree and Executive Programs at Harvard Kennedy School of Government
The Andronico Luksic Fellowships for Master's Degree and Executive Programs at Harvard Kennedy School of Government were established in 2006 to advance Croatia's public interest by providing educational opportunities for the country's human capital at Harvard University - one of the United States' most recognized institutions of higher learning, serving as a centre of excellence across the world for centuries. The Fellowships honour the life and legacy of Andronico Luksic, a visionary Chilean leader and entrepreneur of Croatian descent, and provide support for the Harvard Kennedy School of Government (HKS) master's degree students and executive education participants.
The Luksic Fellowships are granted for qualified individuals from Croatia, who are committed to public service and have outstanding leadership potential and record of achievement. The Fellowships are offered for Master in Public Policy Degree, Master in Public Administration, Mid-Career Master in Public Administration, and Master in Public Administration / International Development. The Andronico Luksic Fellowships for Executive Education support mid-career and senior executives from Croatia's public sector engaged in these programmes, whose topics range from leadership to economic growth, and which vary in length from three days to one month. Participants build lasting networks with accomplished professionals from around the world and expand their skills in a highly collaborative, academically rigorous environment. In order to apply, candidates must complete two applications, the Harvard Kennedy School application, due on 2 December 2011, and the Luksic Fellowship application, due on 6 January 2012.
