ICD Internship Opportunities
The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin (ICD) offers internship opportunities to individuals who would like to gain practical experience working for a non-governmental organization in the field of Cultural Diplomacy. The voluntary Internships programs are intentionally designed to create a unique multicultural centre for young people where members come to Berlin from all around the world, representing different continents, countries, and cultures. This provides a unique experience.
The ICD invites applications from individuals who are coming from the following fields: International Relations, Marketing & PR, Business & Economics, Statistics, Communication& Journalism, Administration, English and Event Management. The ICD is able to offer internships in the following activities:
- research;
- journalism;
- raising awareness and marketing for the programmes;
- acquiring speakers and partners for the programmes;
- executing the weeklong seminars and events the ICD organizes;
- event documentation - conducting interviews, reporting, and documenting ICD events;
- ICD human rights initiatives - journalism, conducting Interviews with notable figures, and supporting the ICD initiatives.
ICD Voluntary internships are full time, unpaid and last 3 - 6 months. Where leadership and high motivation are shown, and based on the intern's level of experience, knowledge, and education, after completing a six-month internship, the ICD will offer the intern to extend the length of the internship for an additional 6 months and will offer scholarship for this extended period.
