Venice Printmaking Studio 2013 Residency
The Venice Printmaking Studio is a non-profit international studio devoted to large-format printmaking and artist's books. The Studio encourages the exploration of traditional as well as experimental printmaking practices and ideas. Located on the island of Murano, its facilities allow for large, medium and small format intaglio etching, screenprinting, relief printing, artist's books, and letterpress. Through the residency programmes, workshops, exhibitions, community projects and printmaking ventures, this is a vibrant, contemporary space in the Venice region.
Apply for 2013 residencies – housing is included with residency fees. The Art Editions Programme offers 3 annual residencies, participation in the Contemporary Large Format Printmaking international exhibition, and a professionally published limited edition print.
Established and emerging artists are welcome to apply for residencies ranging from 2 weeks to up to 2 months. The organisers also welcome proposals from those who wish to come as a group, either through an academic institution or other arts organization.
