Calouste Gulbenkian Prize
The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation will award the Calouste Gulbenkian Prize for the second time. The 250.000 EUR Prize will distinguish an individual or institution, regardless of nationality, whose thoughts or actions made a decisive contribution to understanding, defending or fostering the universal values of the human condition. Nominations should be submitted exclusively until 31 May 2013.
The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, based in Lisbon, Portugal is a Portuguese non-profit foundation, both operating and grant-making in the fields of arts, science, education and human development. Nominations for the Calouste Gulbenkian Prize are open until 31 May 2013 The Prize, worth 250.000EUR, will be awarded to an individual or non profit organization, regardless of nationality, who has made a valuable impact and commitment to foster the universal values inherent to the human condition, respect for diversity and difference, a culture of tolerance and the conservation of the environment in man's relationship with nature.
