The Digital Lab Africa's Call for Projects
The Digital Lab Africa (DLA), a new platform for African talent in multimedia, has launched a call for projects. The objective of Digital Lab Africa is to provide a springboard for African innovation and creativity in multimedia. It is initiated by the French Institute of South Africa in partnership with DISCOP Africa, TRACE and French company leaders in the field.
DLA will focus on 4 expanding and innovative sectors of multimedia content: web creation (transmedia), virtual reality, video game (serious game) and digital music. Digital Lab Africa's call for projects is open to any professional or individual in multimedia creation: artists, producers, start-ups, SMEs, collectives, students or entrepreneurs from Sub-Saharan Africa. Applicants have to be based in the region or be nationals of one of the Sub-Saharan African countries, provided the project development is mostly implemented locally.
Applicants must complete the application form (one project per form) and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org before the 31 August 2016.
Applicants may submit several projects, but only one per category.
