This 13th, trilingual, edition of the Film, Television and Video in Europe Yearbook 2007 of the European Audiovisual Observatory gives a precise and comprehensive picture of the situation of the European audiovisual markets and industry in 36 European States. It is composed of three volumes, dedicated to the three main branches of the audiovisual sector: film/cinema, television and video.
Volume One publishes country reports, offering a synthesis of the national television landscape and latest developments. Basic country figures include data on population and equipment, packagers, number of TV channels by kind of licences and supply of TV channels by genre and platform.
Volume Two is devoted to the global audiovisual market, radio and television companies in Europe, financial resources of the radio-television industry in Europe, the transition to digital television, supply of television channels, trends in television audience and programming.
Volume Three is devoted to production, theatrical distribution and exhibition, digital cinema, admissions, the DVD market, video on demand, and the economy of the European film industry.
