no. 131/IV, Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft, 2010
Culturelink would like to underline the importance of Kulturpolitische Mitteilungen, the cultural policy review published by the German Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft, for the European cultural life, regularly publishing excellent analysis and discussion of current cultural policy issues. With its serious approach and regular publication, it is especially valuable for young researchers, introducing them to a broader view of culture, cultural policy and international cultural cooperation.
In the last issue of 2010 (no. 131/IV), the central theme focuses on cultural policies in the digital society, taking a look at financing of culture online and the mediation of culture through the Internet, discussing the effects of the current digital revolution, not only for the production of art and culture, but also for their reception. In addition to our present situation, all of these topics concern our future, primarily regarding the redefinition and creation of new cultural policies profiles.
